Undergraduate Training in Sheffield. Postgraduate training in Nottingham, London and the West Midlands. MD in cancer research, Univeristy of Birmingham. Initially appointed as Consultant Surgeon at Worcestreshire Royal Hospital in July 2002. Since April 2006 I have been working as a member of the specialist Upper GI Surgical team based at Gloucestershire Royal Hospital.
With my colleagues we provide an Upper GI service to the local population and specialist surgery for Upper GI cancer patients from Gloucestershire, Herefordshire and Worcestershire.
