Gloucestershire Hospitals is running an open day event for nurses on Saturday 7 March at Gloucestershire Royal Hospital.

Over 20 departments and specialties are hosting interactive demonstrations, tours and displays offering future nurses a real insight into the life of a nurse at Gloucestershire Hospitals. As part of the day, visitors will be able to go onto the wards to see first-hand what it’s like and the environment they will be working in.

In addition, interviews will be held on the day for Band 5 and newly qualified nurses who have applied for a job in advance via NHS jobs.

Fran Wilson, Lead Nurse for Recruitment and Retention said: "As one of the largest NHS trusts in the UK, we offer a huge range of opportunities and benefits in a genuinely supportive and innovative working environment. We’re looking forward to welcoming open day visitors, both existing nurses and those looking to become nurses.”
