Members of the public will have an opportunity to glimpse hospital life through the eyes of a clinician as part of this year’s Annual Members’ Meeting (AMM).

This year’s AMM will be particularly nostalgic as Gloucestershire Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust (GHNHSFT), which runs Gloucestershire Royal and Cheltenham General Hospitals, marks the 70th anniversary of the NHS by reflecting on some of the many breakthrough achievements in healthcare over the decades. There will also be an opportunity to look ahead to the future and learn how the hospitals’ Journey to Outstanding plans to build on these successes.

The AMM will be staged at Redwood Education Centre, Gloucestershire Royal Hospital, on Thursday 20 September.

The marketplace, where members of the public can meet clinicians and hospital staff to learn more about services, is open from 5pm with the AMM starting at 6pm.

Between 5pm – 6pm a special demonstration called ‘On the Front Line’ will show how clinicians would respond to a real life scenario in administering life-saving resuscitation. Public tours of the hospitals’ library will also be available.

Members of the public are warmly welcome to attend. To book your place email or call 0300 422 2932.
