Join us this October and Walk for our Wards!

This October our sixth annual “Walk For Wards” event would have been taking place at Cirencester Park. Each year our dedicated hospital staff, patients and supporters take on a 3 or 10km challenge to raise funds for a ward or hospital area of their choice.

Due to the current guidelines we have taken the decision to postpone the event until May 2021. However, we didn’t want this to stop us fundraising for our amazing NHS staff!

So we are asking the local community to take on a walking challenge throughout the month of October. Could you run a marathon, walk 5k every day or even hit your 10,000 steps? We would love to hear about how you will be taking part.

Over the last five years we have raised over £20,000 in donations through Walk For Wards. In the current climate it is more important than ever to continue to raise funds for your local NHS. We hope you will be able to join us in taking on this challenge and setting up a fundraising page!

To sign up and take part this October, please click here. You will be able to select which hospital ward or area you would like to fundraise for or you can select Cheltenham and Gloucester Hospitals Charity and your donation will be used wherever the need is greatest.

We would like to thank all of our supporters and hope to see you next year at Walk For Wards 2021!
