Make a healthy change to your lifestyle by taking on our #My100Days Challenge!

By taking on our #My100Days challenge, you can make a pledge to improve your own lifestyle, and make an impact on local lives by supporting Gloucestershire’s CT Scanner appeal.

Whether it’s cutting down on chocolate or alcohol, getting more exercise or making time for yoga, most of us will begin the year with a resolution to make a positive change to our lifestyle and health.

By taking on our #My100Days challenge, you can make a pledge to improve your own lifestyle, and make an impact on local lives by supporting Gloucestershire’s CT Scanner appeal.

You can make your 100 day pledge in your own way, and set your own goals – and show your support with a #My100Days Twibbon on social media!

“The 100 day challenge is all about making a change which is sustainable in the long term – if you can do it for 100 days then you can keep doing it! It’s about changing our habits and making sure we all make those small changes which together can make a big impact on our health.

By taking on the challenge you can show your support for our CT Scanner Appeal, which will save and transform lives through faster diagnosis. We’ve got a ‘Twibbon’ which people can use on social media to show they are taking on the challenge, and people can set up an online fundraising page” Richard Hastilow-Smith, Head of Fundraising.

The CT Scanner Appeal will benefit over 100,000 local people each year, helping to diagnose conditions such as cancer, heart disease and stroke. This vital technology will give Gloucestershire the best possible diagnostic imaging, and will greatly reduce waiting times for local patients.

The link between diet, exercise and your health is well known, and by taking on the challenge our supporters can do their bit to keep themselves healthy and out of hospital.

“What I like about the 100 day challenge is that you can do it in your own way – I’d like to cut down on alcohol but don’t want to cut it out completely, especially as I know we have weddings and parties to go to in the new year!”

“So my challenge will be to cut out alcohol for 100 days during the first 4 months of the year, and I’m putting a pound into a tin for the CT Appeal each day I don’t drink as I’ll be saving money by cutting down! It’s a great way to make a change.” Karen
