Associate Medical Director
The Associate Medical Director will provide principal support to the development and engagement of the Consultant workforce within the Trust.
The focus of the post will be the design and implementation of an outstanding package of induction, mentoring and leadership development, with a particular focus on peer group involvement and engagement. You will support the development of clinical leaders who are not only competent and compassionate but also able to successfully navigate the operational systems of management within our Trust and the wider Integrated Care System.

Chief of Service, Surgery Division
The Chief of Service for Surgery will provide strategic and clinical leadership and be the accountable officer for our highly regarded Surgery Division.
The postholder will seek to ensure that the Division provides effective and efficient patient services of the highest quality. Strong clinical engagement is central to the management of the Division. You will contribute corporately to the management of the Trust on a day-to-day basis, as well as the strategic direction of the organisation.

Specialty Director, Cardiology and Respiratory
The specialty director will lead on the cross-county strategic development and operational delivery of cardiology and respiratory services.
Join the service at an exciting time of expansion, integration and centralisation. Cardiology are part of the IGIS and Fit For The Future strategic visions for centralisation of services and specialisation for image guided surgery.
The department is working to deliver 24/7 PPCI for the county, including the implementation of:
- CVIS (cardio IT system)
- a local Electrophysiology service
- expansion of secondary care heart failure services
Respiratory are front runners for integration as part of the Integrated Care System (ICS), working closely with primary care to set up community Hubs and locality MDTs. The department is working towards delivering higher acuity of care in a high care setting on the wards at Gloucestershire Royal Hospital (GRH) and having a highly responsive in-reach into unscheduled care as part of an MDT.
