We are proud to support staff who wish to join the volunteer reserve forces.

We have a long history of supporting our staff who join the Armed Forces as a Reserve. We have a dedicated policy to support of the work of all our Reserves, which includes paid leave to allow staff to attend training.

Deborah Lee, our Chief Executive, said: "I am very proud to endorse Gloucestershire Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust’s support for Britain’s Armed Forces Reserves. I fully recognise the values, skills and training that reserve military service develops in Reservist personnel which can directly benefit this Trust as a whole.

“This Trust has a dedicated policy detailing how we support staff who are Reservists, or who may want to join, with paid and unpaid leave, to facilitate attendance at military training events. We also encourage all line managers to be supportive of their team members with regard to leave and shift management wherever practical."
