Gloucestershire Advanced Research Innovation Institute (GARII) Hub officially open thanks to your support
At Gloucestershire Royal Hospital a new central hub has been created to support Trust staff with their Research and Innovation projects.
The GARII Hub has been funded thanks to your generosity and will help support Trust staff with all elements of the research process; from design ideas, ethics applications and statistical analysis. The aim of the new GARII Hub is to support and encourage creativity and collaboration - in turn promoting and enabling new research and innovation projects - by providing:
- A dedicated space to work and collaborate as well as a single point of contact
- Drop in advisory/guidance/support service/assistance with pathway mapping
- Support with grants and funding applications
- Link staff with other collaborators including University of Gloucestershire students
Alice Goodchild, RIG Project Support Lead, said “We are incredibly excited that the GARII Hub is now officially open! This project will strengthen the innovation ecosystem within the Trust and provide opportunities for collaborations with wider healthcare groups, universities and the business community.”
“We want to create a thriving culture of research and innovation within our organisation. Both staff and patients will benefit from the new innovations and research studies - helping to improve patient care, efficiencies of service and offering increased opportunities to participate in research.”
