Volunteer for us
Volunteering is a fun way to make a difference. Find the role that is right for you.
- Event Volunteer: This could be perfect for a 'people person' who wants to support without necessarily making a long-term commitment. This could mean welcoming guests to a concert, cheering on runners, or helping sell cakes at a bake sale. We sometimes need volunteers who are fit and strong, to help us move or set up bulky items.
- Community Support: Community volunteering could mean fundraising in your local area, distributing literature, receiving a cheque on behalf of the charity, or giving a talk to a school or community group.
- Support as an organisation: Volunteering as a business or organisation means you can create a lasting impact at our hospitals, improve engagement and promote the amazing work you do as an organisation. For example, a volunteer team could take on the task of tidying up an outside space at the hospital and turning it into a patio garden for patients to enjoy.
- Retail Opportunities: Our local hospitals have a number of retail outlets that are supported by volunteers. We also hope to have another 'pop up shop' as part of our next Art Trail. If you would like to help please get in touch!
There are many potential volunteer roles. Please contact us for a chat on 0300 422 3231 or ghn-tr.fundraising@nhs.net.
