Crane Lift at Atrium Entrance at Gloucestershire Royal Hospital – Temporary Road Closure and Access Changes

To support essential roof replacement works, a crane lift will take place at the Atrium entrance on Tuesday 9 December.

To facilitate this safely:

  • The Atrium roadway will close from 7am on Monday 8 December for crane set-up.
  • The lift itself will occur on Tuesday 9 December.
  • Alternative disabled parking will be available at the Tower car park and on Mayhill Way.
  • Pedestrian access to and from the Atrium will be limited and signposted during set-up.
    • Access will be prohibited during the crane lift itself for safety reasons.
  • The area is expected to reopen mid-afternoon on 9 December, subject to favourable weather conditions.
