Opening of New Modular MRI Unit at Gloucestershire Royal Hospital (GRH)
We are pleased to announce the official opening of our brand-new modular MRI unit at GRH
The new purpose-built facility is designed to provide a calm and welcoming environment for patients while offering a modern and efficient workspace for staff.
Equipped with a cutting-edge MRI scanner, this state-of-the-art unit is designed to enhance the diagnostic experience and support the delivery of high-quality care. It represents a key step in our recovery following 18 months of reduced MRI capacity due to estate-related challenges. The new facility enables the acceleration of our MRI recovery plan and supports a return to improved performance levels.
The new facility will make a real difference to patients as we'll be able to see more people, more quickly and importantly, reduce delays for urgent and emergency patients waiting in ED and acute medicine.
