Roadworks on Mayhill Road from 23 March for 8 weeks
Resurfacing works will be taking place along Mayhill Road at Gloucestershire Royal Hospital from 23 March for approximately eight weeks. These works will help improve the road surface and drainage around the hospital site.
What this means for you
During the works, parts of Mayhill Road will be reduced to one‑way traffic, and temporary traffic lights will be in place. This may create some delays when entering or moving around the site.
The work will be carried out in six stages as highlighted on the map, each lasting between 1–2 weeks, apart from the final section which should take 2–3 days.
Access to hospital buildings and car parks
Access to all hospital car parks and buildings will be maintained throughout the works. Routes around the site may change at short notice, and there may be traffic management staff directing vehicles.
If you are travelling to the hospital
- Please allow extra time for your journey
- Follow the signs and temporary traffic lights
- Take care when walking or driving near the works
Thank you for your patience while we complete these essential improvements.
