Fran has devoted over 40 years to Gloucestershire Hospitals, starting as a student nurse and evolving into a corporate nursing and People & OD role. She combines compassion with professionalism, shaping recruitment, retention and staff development initiatives. Fran has championed flexible working, supported international colleagues and advocated for women’s health, including menopause education.
Known for her empathy, encouragement and attention to detail, she has positively influenced staff morale and patient care. Her lifelong dedication to nurturing a culture of respect, inclusion and excellence leaves a lasting legacy.
Steven Doyle
Materials Management, GMS

Steve Doyle has dedicated 50 years to the Trust and GMS, progressing from catering to Materials Management, guiding multiple departments and training generations of officers. His knowledge, steady leadership and willingness to share expertise have shaped operations and professional development.
Steve is highly respected for his commitment, reliability and mentorship. His decades of service reflect dedication, professionalism and a profound positive impact on the Trust.
Dr Geraint Fuller
Neurology

Dr Fuller is recognised for his decades-long contribution to neurology, particularly epilepsy care. He has provided calm, expert leadership while mentoring doctors, nurses, therapists and students, valuing multidisciplinary collaboration.
Respected nationally for his work on guidelines, education and service development, Dr Fuller remains approachable and committed to patients and colleagues.
