The Three Counties Oesophagogastric Centre at Gloucestershire Hospitals is the regional specialist centre for the investigation and treatment of cancers of the oesophagus and stomach including gastrointestinal stromal tumours (GISTs).

Pancreatic, liver, bile ducts and gallbladder cancers are less common and surgery for these cancers is done in fewer specialist regional centres at the Queen Elizabeth University Hospital HPB Team in Birmingham.
