  • Phospholipase A2 Antibody (PLA2R) Antibodies occur in 70-80% of patients with primary membranous nephropathy, which is the most common cause of nephrotic syndrome in adults. Disease activity and response to therapy can be monitored by their levels.
  • Test is performed by the Immunology Department, Southmead Hospital.
