The Surgical Admissions Suite cares for patients who are having elective (planned) surgery and who are expected to stay in hospital overnight or longer. The unit is located in the main corridor from the Tower entrance, and is situated above the Pharmacy department. There is a lift to the right hand side of the stairway.

The 10th GSQIA Graduation and Awards Ceremony took place on Friday, 7th of December 2018 from 9:30am – 12.30pm in the Lecture Hall at Redwood Education Centre, Gloucestershire Royal Hospital.
The change to (Sensitive - increased dose required) recognises that for certain bug / drug combinations an increased dose of an antibiotic should be given to assure the organisms are exposed to adequate concentrations of the antibiotic at the site of infection.
