A fan can be used to help cool your skin if it feels hot and sweaty. If left untreated it can cause a pressure ulcer, redness and friction.
If you make your video call using your mobile data, you may be charged extra by your network provider if you go over your data allowance.
You will know if you are drinking enough if you pass clear, pale coloured urine. Avoid alcohol. Wear support stockings and tights during the day.
The most important thing to do if you have COPD is to stop smoking.
If your urine is dark or has a strong odour, you need to drink more. Healthy pee is 1 to 3. If yours is between 4 and 8 you must drink more.
If your usual fitness levels are higher, it is fine to exercise at that level if you are well enough.
If you use an insulin pump, we would like your BM to be 7mmol/L. Please call your local pump team if you need advice.
