Improving accessibility to our hospitals is very important to us. We worked in partnership with Gloucestershire Sight Loss Council to create these hospital audio guides for Cheltenham General Hospital and Gloucestershire Royal Hospital.
Improving accessibility to our hospitals
Both of our hospitals continue to be transformed, with a range of new building works and refurbishments to improve access to services and the delivery of care.
To improve accessibility we are proud to have been able to work in partnership up with Gloucestershire Sight Loss Council to create audio maps of a small number of services in Cheltenham General Hospital and Gloucestershire Royal Hospital.
This is the first time an audio map has been created for use our hospitals and we hope you find the guides helpful. These initial audio maps focus on eye services and the Emergency Departments and we hope to build a larger library in the coming months.
We welcome any feedback you may have to improve the audio guides and in making our hospitals accessible.
