We are launching a new initiative which enables us to demonstrate how we offer our patients, their families and our staff open, non-judgmental and inclusive care and support regardless of how people define themselves.

The Rainbow Badge initiative originated at Evelina London Children's Hospital to make a positive difference by promoting a message of inclusion.

The Rainbow Badge can be worn by anyone seeking to make a difference for both patients and staff, by providing environment that is more inclusive and celebrating of diversity.

The Badge isn’t just worn by those who identify themselves as LGBT, but can also be worn by those who role model the inclusive and supportive behaviours that exemplify our diversity at Gloucestershire Hospitals.

The launches take place on Monday 10th June at 10am in the Atrium main entrance at Gloucestershire Royal Hospital and at 1pm in Glasshouse Coffee Shop at Cheltenham General on Wednesday 12th June.
