Education facilities

We have two purpose-built training centres at our hospitals.

As healthcare workers we are all still required to remain up to date with the statutory, mandatory and essential-to-role training relevant to our jobs. To help colleagues to access the training and development they need:

  • Many Programmes already delivered via eLearning are still available
  • Many Programmes previously delivered in classrooms are being redesigned for our digital platforms

Booking procedure

Training Rooms within our two Trust Education Centres can be booked online visit Bookwise

When making a booking please ensure you are able to provide the following information:

  1. Site (Redwood or Sandford)
  2. Preferred Room (this may be subject to change)
  3. Date of Event
  4. Start and Finish times
  5. Event Title
  6. Contact Details
  7. Organiser Details (if different)
  8. Department/Employing Organisation
  9. Category (e.g. workshop, mandatory training)
  10. Number of Delegates
  11. Catering and refreshment requirements by completing the catering template

To support your teaching/training session a limited number of laptops, headsets and webcams are available for loan from Reception. To ensure availability these items should be reserved in advance.

Hearing loops are installed and portable loops are available in both Education Centres.
