Area of expertise
Dr Jackson has worked as a consultant microbiologist in Cheltenham since joining our Trust in 2001.
He contributes to the clinical microbiology service which is provided to all hospital clinicians in our hospitals, Gloucestershire Care Services, and 2gether, and to all local GPs served by the Gloucester Microbiology Departmental Laboratory.
Dr Jackson is also the Infection Control Doctor for the Cheltenham General Hospital site and works closely with our infection control team. As a consultant microbiologist he is a member of the departmental management team.
