The death of a baby is devastating to parents and their families, and decisions about what to do are very personal. There is no right or way to respond, and our specialist midwives can support you through the process.

Our support services

At the Women’s Centre at Gloucestershire Royal Hospital, we have two specially designed suites in which you and your family can spend time with your baby and prepare for your return home.

You will be put in touch with one of our specialist bereavement midwives who will help you find the best way for you and your family to cope with your loss.
