Notes
- Specific IgE are available to a large number of antigens however taking a thorough clinical history will facilitate targeted testing which makes good use of resources.
- Blanket request for IgE testing or food allergies will not be processed. Allergen specific IgE results should be interpreted in the context of the clinical history.

- Specific IgEs are sent to the Immunology Department, Southmead Hospital or Protein Reference Unit, Immunology Department, Sheffield Northern General Hospital.
