- This test is the best way to diagnose acute Legionella infection
- It should be performed as early as possible after diagnosis of pneumonia
- Legionella serum antibodies are rarely of diagnostic value, but may be useful in epidemiological investigations

30ml sterile universal container
Bottles with boric acid preservative are acceptable

Store at fridge temperature
