If you are likely to experience nausea and/or vomiting, you will be given anti-sickness medication before each treatment and a supply to take home.
If patient on high dose biotin therapy (>5mg/day) collect sample at least 8 hours after the last dose.
It is essential to contact the Duty Biochemist at least 24 hours before sample collection as timing of sampling and transport arrangements have to be made in advance due to the limited stability of this analyte.
We provide a range of Radiology Services including X-ray, CT, MRI and Ultrasound scans. Our Image Guided Surgery Hub (IGIS) is also in this service.
