Guiting Ward specialises in Care of the Elderly

Patients come to Woodmancote ward for specialist care following a stroke. This part of our stroke unit focuses on the rehabilitation phase of stroke care and HASU at Gloucestershire Royal Hospital specialises in the acute phase.
The Maternity Ward is located within the Women's Centre at Gloucestershire Royal Hospital

Ward 3A specialises in treating trauma and orthopaedic patients and is located on the third floor of the Tower Block at Gloucestershire Royal Hospital.
Ward 4B specialises in treating vascular patients and is located on the fourth floor of the Tower Block at Gloucestershire Royal Hospital.
Ward 5A specialises in treating upper gastrointestinal patients. It is located on the fifth floor of the Tower Block at Gloucestershire Royal Hospital.
Rendcomb Ward specialises in treating oncology (cancer) and haematology patients and delivers a variety of care including chemotherapy, radiotherapy and stem cell transplantation. The ward is located on the first floor of the Oncology Centre at Cheltenham General Hospital.
Avening Ward provides care for cancer patients.

On Tuesday 24 October, Ward 6B is moving from the Tower Block to Gallery Wing at Gloucestershire Royal Hospital.
If you are unwell, require close monitoring or your treatment is administered over several hours, you may need to stay on an inpatient ward.
