They tend to reach their peak around 7 to 14 days after your last radiotherapy session, so do not be alarmed if they worsen.
This is normal and should pass within 2 days. If we have removed a polyp, you may bleed slightly after the procedure; this is not unusual.

We cover 365 days of the year from 7:00am until 7:30pm weekdays and 8:00am-4:00pm on weekends.
In the days following your injection you may have: mild discomfort around the site where you had the injection.
In the early days it may be helpful to: Take control of decision making as soon as you are able.

If you currently take medicines containing iron, you must stop taking them 7 days before your appointment.
This is normal and should pass within 2 days. Discomfort behind the breastbone but this should settle within 24 to 48 hours.
This will completely resolve within 1 to 2 days. Your body will get rid of the gas naturally. Bruising around the incision sites may happen.
The result of the test should be available from the laboratory within 2 working days.

They can expect to stay on our Maternity Ward for 1-3 days or until they are cleared to return home.
You may feel as if you could spend whole days in bed, unable to complete the smallest chore.
While constipation can be a normal side effect, if you have not opened your bowels in more than 3 days, you should ask your GP for advice.
