The wound is closed either with dissolvable stitches just under the skin or by one long stitch that is removed 4 to 5 days after the operation.
This can be anytime between 9:00 am and 5:00 pm, Monday to Friday.
After 6 weeks you can gradually build up your level of activity, and after 3 months you should be able to return to your usual level of activity.
This may be several weeks or even up to 3 months after your treatment has finished.
