After graduating from Birmingham University and completing his Foundation years, Dr Iain Smith moved to the Severn region for core medical training.

Dr Hole qualified from the University of Nottingham in 2001. Most of her training was spent in the Severn Deanery. She joined the consultant team in Gloucestershire in 2012.

Dr Brady is a Consultant Cardiologist with a sub-specialty in Interventional Cardiology, focusing on the investigation and treatment of coronary artery disease. Dr Brady completed his medical training at the University of Leicester where he was awarded an Honours degree and the Very Reverend Derek Hole Prize in Cardiovascular Medicine (2012). He was awarded an MD by the University of Birmingham in 2022 having undertaken research in atrial fibrillation and heart failure. He completed his training in Interventional Cardiology at the Bristol Heart Institute and the Royal Bournemouth Hospital.

Dr. Gentles is a Consultant Physician specialising in the care of older patients. Dr. Gentles works half in the hospital and half in the community, in a joint appointment between GHNHSFT and GHC. Her hospital time is spent mainly seeing older patients who have presented to the Emergency Dept at GRH or who are on the short-stay unit for older patients with frailty. Her community work is carried out across Gloucester city. She has an interest in patient and carer involvement and believes co-production and equal partnership of clinicians and patients is the way forward in improving services. She recently worked at the Royal College of Physicians as their Patient Involvement Officer. She is a voluntary board adviser to Healthwatch Gloucestershire.

Dr Jackson has worked as a consultant microbiologist in Cheltenham since joining our Trust in 2001.

Dr Adarsh Babu completed training in general medicine and nephrology from Severn deanery, Bristol. He further pursued his interests in renal transplant by completing PhD in transplant immunology from University of Warwick. His research includes complement mediated chronic antibody mediated rejection. His research has also shown the significance of complement proteins in highly sensitized patients. To further enhance his transplant experience he completed one year transplant nephrology fellowship at Henry Ford Hospitals, Detroit, USA.

Biopsychosocial approach to pain management for adults and young people; pain medication optimisation; interventional musculoskeletal pain procedures including joint injection, radiofrequency treatment and nerve injections.

Dr Raina received his undergraduate medical training in India. He moved to the UK in 1999 to undergo his postgraduate medical training.

Dr Raghuram has been a Consultant in General and Respiratory Medicine since 2002. Procedures performed Bronchoscopy and endobronchial ultrasound.

Dr Green takes an interest in radiology.

Dr Gibson's focus is: clinical radiology; renal and biliary intervention.
