How do I know if my treatment has worked?

If you have a busy list then stop at 5 minutes. If the whole team wants to carry on beyond 5-minutes, then do!
If this is not possible, please let the nursing staff know as they may wish to arrange for a district nurse to visit if necessary.
We would be grateful if you could get in touch if you have any signs of infection, or require antibiotics in the week before your iron infusion is scheduled
If you are an insulin pump patient, we would like your BM to be 7mmol/L. Please call your local pump team if you need further advice.
