Dr Napier initially read law at the London School of Economics. He studied post-graduate medicine at the University of Southampton and completed his gastroenterology/hepatology training in the Bristol/Severn region. He has an interest in hepatology.

The Paediatric Gastroenterology Service in Gloucestershire is part of a clinical network of gastroenterology teams in the South West. We work closely with our colleagues at Bristol Children’s Hospital, as well as other specialist centres such as Great Ormond Street Hospital to provide treatment and supportive care for children and young people in Gloucestershire who have complex bowel problems.
The Gloucestershire Liver Unit (GLU) provides inpatient and outpatient care across two main hospital sites in Cheltenham and Gloucester. It has an active and growing clinical research programme in association with the NIHR.
