Treatment for Dupuytren’s contracture is often given in 2 blocks of 5 treatments (10 in total) with a 6 to12 week gap in between.
The treatment is normally divided into a number of sessions (called fractions), with 1 session given each day for 5 days with a rest at the weekend.
You should repeat this 5 times every hour. This will help you to recover from your anaesthetic and prevent a chest infection.
Alternatively, blood samples can be taken at the Quayside Community Diagnostic Centre, Monday to Friday, 9:00 am to 5:00 pm (appointments only).
