What if I change my mind?
If a clinic is running late the clinic team will give you more information.

If it was safe to do so you may have been discharged home with these symptoms.

If your repeat reading is still low, contact your maternity unit within 24 hours or within 4 hours if you feel unwell (e.g. dizzy or faint).
What if I forget a dose?
Your Consultant and their team can refer you to a dietician if you are experiencing any difficulties in eating or drinking or if you may have concerns
You will be advised if any additional procedures are needed.
If an alternative provider is identified, the patient will be contacted and asked if they would like to proceed and next steps will be discussed.
If there is any danger to the limb an alternative dressing should be used.
If you experience any other symptoms you should contact your GP for advice.
If γGT is also raised then some, if not all, of the ALP is likely to be of liver origin.
If a dressing has been applied, please remove this after 48 hours.
If we cannot manage this, there is most likely a blockage there.
How would I know if I have a wound infection?
If a friend or relative dropped you off, please ask if they are able to pick you up. If this is not possible, please consider booking a taxi.
