The day surgery unit at Cheltenham General Hospital closes at 9:00 pm - no patients stay overnight.
Your operation is usually performed between 9:00 am and 3:00 pm but sometimes it may be delayed if the labour ward is very busy and/or there are emergencies
Alternatively, blood samples can be taken at the Quayside Community Diagnostic Centre, Monday to Friday, 9:00 am to 5:00 pm (appointments only).
