The Bereavement Midwife team
Before you go home, you will be given an appointment to see your consultant’s team which is usually about 6 weeks after your operation.
A combined approach with our hand therapy team will help to address this.
During your appointment with one of the surgical team, the procedure will be discussed in full.
We also work as part of the kidney (renal) multi-disciplinary team which includes kidney consultants and specialist nurses.

During your operation, the operating team will work under the guidance of X-ray imaging, to position the stent graft inside your aorta.
We can provide expert input from the most appropriate members of our multidisciplinary team to consider non-medication ways to manage pain.
