On the morning of your operation, you will go to the Mayhill Unit at Gloucestershire Royal Hospital where you will be prepared for your surgery.
The nurses will check your general health, and your consultant and anaesthetist will visit you before you before your surgery.
The consultant dentist you see in the clinic will decide which teeth will need to be taken out.
A stress fracture will need about 6 weeks to fully heal.
It will also make you feel better and help speed up your recovery.
This will reduce your risk of infection.
Will I feel any pain?
This will numb your throat but you will be able to breathe normally.
Drops will be put in the eye(s) to be treated; this will make the pupil smaller and will take about 30 minutes to work.

Many children will grow out of their epilepsy so will not need to be transitioned to adult services.
Unit There will be no hot water from 8am – 5pm.
Note that during this time, access to the Tower entrance will be via a side entrance, which will be clearly signposted.
Will the procedure hurt?
This will be permanent.

What will my baby’s mouth look like afterwards?
You will be seen by a nurse who will check your personal details.
Will I need a catheter?
If this happens the operation will be stopped and you will be given antibiotics and may have to stay in hospital overnight.
