Why is the air from the CPAP so cold? The machine uses room air and will only be as warm as the room that the machine is placed in.
Air tube system
If you have experienced any of the following within the last 12 weeks, ENTONOX® will not be suitable for you: Pneumothorax Air embolism Bowel obstruction
Please send by porter - do not use air tube.
Why is air escaping from the holes at the front of the mask?
Air will then stop leaking in and out of your lung.
To relieve excess air in your stomach
in the air.
As your condition improves, we will gradually remove the air from the cuff.
Most of the air put in during the test will be taken out as the tube is removed.
The bottle is made of glass and must not be transported in the air tube system.
Humidification (the process of moistening air)
This test measures the volumes and speed of the air you can blow out from your lungs.
Do NOT send in air tube.
When the airway becomes squashed, the person will feel a lack of air going into the lungs leading to the frightening sensation of air hunger.
The plastic tube is attached to a light source and air bellows.
With each breath the machine will blow air into your lungs at a set pressure.
**DO NOT SEND CSF SAMPLES VIA THE AIR TUBE.
