The Acute Medical Unit is a 50 bedded unit, which aims to assess and either discharge or transfer patients to a more specialised area.

The unit was set up in 2009 and is run by Consultant Gynaecologist and Specialist in Reproductive Medicine, Mrs Kalpana Reddy.

To find the Endoscopy Unit, you need to enter the hospital through the main Atrium entrance.
They can stay in the waiting area, or come back to the unit once your treatment is finished.

The unit is located in the main corridor concourse, above the pharmacy. You can use the lift to the right of the stairway to get to the Mayhill unit.
