If there is anything that you do not understand please ask the nurse or doctor who is looking after your child.
If you have any questions or concerns, please do not hesitate to ask your nurse.
This is very important as your procedure may be delayed if you do not get advice.

What to do if you are having problems
The death of a baby is devastating to parents and their families, and decisions about what to do are very personal.
Storage/transport Do not store. Send at ambient temperature immediately to the laboratory.
If it was safe to do so you may have been discharged home with these symptoms.
Please do not be afraid to ask if you have any worries or questions at this stage.
You will be advised on the ward what to do if you need to have your stitches removed.
Do not expect too much of yourself and remember that it is a gradual process. Pace yourself and save your energy for things you want or have to do.
Keep the sample warm (body temperature) by carrying it upright in an inside pocket, but do not let become too hot.
