How will the procedure be carried out?
Patients will be seen in order of their arrival but occasionally, a patient may arrive who is very unwell and needs to be seen quickly.
Some days the radiotherapy department may be very busy and your appointment time may be delayed. You will be kept informed of any delays.
The test can be ordered as an urgent request.
If unavoidable, sample can be stored refrigerated overnight.
