What will happen if I decide not to have the procedure?
During this time, you can apply ice if you have any swelling of the joint.

If you usually share a bed with someone, you will need to sleep separately for 16 days, longer if they are pregnant.
Both heat and ice can be re-applied after an hour if needed.
