The procedure can take 3 to 4 hours, but you should expect to be in theatre and recovery for longer.
These exercises should be repeated 10 times, twice a day increasing to 20 times 4 times per day over the following week.
This means that you will come into hospital on the morning of your operation and you will go home about 4 hours after the procedure has been completed.
Once you have collected this information over a 3 to 4 day period you can start re-training your bladder.
