On day 7 after your injury, in front of a mirror, examine your nose from the bridge to the tip.
It is possible that you may be in the department between 3 to 7 hours.
The average length of stay in the unit is between 4 to 6 hours but this can vary.
Never run low of stock – keep 5 to 7 days of all stock at all times.
If required, you should be able to self-certify sickness for 7 days. For 4 weeks after your appointment, you should use sanitary pads, not tampons.
7 days before the operation
We advise that you do 10 repetitions of each exercise, 4 times a day until you have regained the normal use of your hand.

This will be about 4 to 5 days after the procedure.
In bed, roll onto your side and prop yourself up on 3 or 4 pillows.
The aim of pump therapy is to keep fasting blood glucose levels between 4 to 7 mmol/L.

If the procedure was performed through the wrist, you should avoid excessive use of the affected hand for 3 to 4 days.
It is important that you drink 2 to 3 litres of fluid each day for 7 days.
You may need to do this, 3 to 4 times a day, until the effects of the Botox® wears off.
