Discharge planning starts as soon as you are admitted, as we like to know your social circumstances and give you a proposed date for discharge.

A letter will be sent to your GP to let them know the results of the test.
We also advise you to let your GP know.
Please let the person bringing you in know that you may be in the unit for 4 to 6 hours.
