For this operation, your surgeon will make 4 to 5 small incisions (cuts) to your abdomen (tummy). These incisions will be about 1 cm in length.
This is to be used for the 5 days before the procedure, to reduce any bacteria on your skin.
You may need to pass urine more often for 2 to 3 days after the treatment.
You will be sent or given a screening pack which contains the following items: 2 labelled red capped swabs.
The neck line is only temporary but can be used for 2 weeks if necessary.
The procedure takes no longer than 5 minutes and you will be taken back to your bed area when you have recovered from the sedation.
There are 2 ways of retraining your bladder.
The catheter valve should be changed every 5 to 7 days or earlier if it is damaged.

Stage 2 The cancer is bigger than 2cm in size, but has not spread into the lymph nodes or other parts of the body.
It is also important to make sure that you’re offering foods little and often, every 2-3 hours where possible.
