Most women are able to resume normal activity in terms of exercise and daily tasks within 4 to 8 weeks.

Aim is to keep all glucose levels 4 to 7 or 5 to 8 mmol/L. Test your glucose levels 2 hourly during a fast.
Between 8 and 10 weeks, the injury should have healed. The splint can now be removed completely, and the hand used for normal day to day activity.
