The bleeding should stop completely within 3 weeks. We advise you to use sanitary towels following a miscarriage to reduce your risk of infection.

You may have a light meal 2 hours before the procedure and clear fluids up to the appointment time.
Rivaroxaban or apixaban - patients should stop these 3 days before the procedure (take the last dose 4 days before the procedure date).
It is possible that you may be in the department between 3 to 7 hours.
For most people this is from around 3 days after the operation.
The risks of having ERCP are small, less than 3 in 100 cases overall.
