On admission your details will be checked.
Once you start passing wind the tube will be removed and you will be able to drink larger amounts of fluid and food will gradually be introduced.
You will then be asked to sit at the laser machine and anaesthetic drops will be put in the eye(s) to be treated.
Whilst Mayhill Way will not be closed off, please be aware that when loaded with the Lab, the transport vehicle will be travelling at very low speed.
You will be given a local anaesthetic around the port site and a small incision will be made allowing both parts of the port to be removed.
Leave-in conditioners can also be helpful.
You will be taken into the scanning room where you will be asked to lie on a couch, fully clothed, for about 10 minutes while the machine takes images
Exceptions may be made for babies and renal patients. In other patients small samples will not be processed.

Will my ovaries be removed?
