The spray under your tongue may give you a minor headache or dizziness but it will go quickly.

When can I go back to work?

What if I travel or go on holiday? Performing ISC should not restrict your travel or holiday choices, you just need to be organised.
A possible option is to see how things go if you have mild or no symptoms. You will need close observation and repeated scans and blood tests.
At your first clinic appointment with the oncologist, you will be asked to sign a consent form confirming that you wish to go ahead with the treatment.
An anaesthetist will visit you before you go to theatre and will discuss with you the type of anaesthetic you will be receiving.
In many cases, patients go back to AF following a period of being in sinus rhythm, for others it is not possible to achieve sinus rhythm.
Most patients normally go home after 1 to 2 nights, compared to 5 to 6 nights after open surgery. Smaller scars but the scars will still be visible.
