The bleeding should stop completely within 3 weeks. We advise you to use sanitary towels following a miscarriage to reduce your risk of infection.
We also advise you not to have sexual intercourse for 10 to 14 days following the operation and not until the bleeding has settled.
It usually takes between 3 to 8 weeks to fall to a normal level.
